More Join Malick’s WW2 Film “Radegund”

Bruno Ganz has reportedly joined the cast of Terrence Malick’s upcoming WWII film “Radegund” which is currently filming reports Blick (via The Playlist).

August Diehl (“Inglourious Basterds”) and newcomer Valerie Pachner lead the film in which Ganz plays Franz Jagerstatter, an Austrian man who opposed the Nazis and refused to fight as a conscientious objector. He was executed by them in 1943.

The report also indicates that some fairly big names are also onboard in supporting roles including Matthias Schoenaerts, Michael Nyqvist and the one and only Jurgen Prochnow.

Malick’s “Voyage of Time” opens later this year, and both “Radegund” and his already completed love triangle music drama “Weightless” has yet to set a release date.
