Two anticipated game sequels almost certainly getting showcased at E3 next week have had some early details drop online today.
First up, IGN reports that retail chain GameStop apparently had a poster for an upcoming sequel to “Injustice: Gods Among Us” hanging in a store – likely the result of someone going early.

Ed Boon, the head of NetherRealm Studios which produced the first game, responded to the leaked poster image with one of his own that portrays GameStop being crossed off an invite list and Boon himsself shrugging his shoulders. That pretty much confirms its real, though we’ll certainly know more next week.
Coming sooner than that though is “Watch Dogs 2” with the game’s announcement trailer going online in a few hours. Said trailer, which already leaked a few hours ago, not only confirms the “Watch Dogs 2” title and a new protagonist, but also indicates the sequel will be set in San Francisco and has a current release date of November 15th.
Expect more details on that game during Ubisoft’s media briefing at E3 next week.
