Despite filming having wrapped back in December, George Miller isn’t done with work on “Mad Max: Fury Road” just yet.
Inside Film reports that Miller will conduct three more weeks of additional filming on the feature at his home base in Sydney, Australia starting November 22nd.
The shoot will be a far cry from the desert of Namibia where much of the film was shot in the second half of 2012. Filming also took place at Cape Town Film Studios.
Casting calls have gone out for several likely non speaking roles including an Aboriginal elder, a girl and a couple. All must have slim builds and “odd, idiosyncratic faces”.
Some members of the ensemble cast are also set to be involved in the shoot, though which ones are unknown.
Tom Hardy takes on the role of Mad Max Rockatansky in this film. Here, he becomes caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a war rig driven by Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron). Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also star.
No one is quite sure as to when we’ll see the film beyond a very nebulous 2014 release date.
