More “Arrested,” “X-Files” Episodes On The Way?

Finally, after talk began even before revivals started, it seems as if more new installments of both “The X-Files” and “Arrested Development” may finally be coming together.

Fox entertainment president David Madden seemed more bullish during the network’s TCA executive session this week (via Deadline) that more episodes of “The X-Files” will be on the way:

“A lot of conversations are going on — as you can imagine, these conversations are complex. We hope to be able to announce something shortly.”

Meanwhile famed producer Brian Grazer tells The Wrap that a chance for more episodes of ‘Arrested’ on Netflix may finally be coalescing:

“I think we’re really close to pulling it off finally. All of the actors have agreed to do it and I think they’ve agreed to their compensation structure. That’s been the hardest – it’s all hard…But it should be happening soon.”

The previous seasons of “The X-Files” and “Arrested Development” aired in 2016 and 2013 respectively.
