Monty Python’s Final Show Comes To Cinemas

Picturehouse Entertainment has scored international distribution rights for “The Last Night of Monty Python,” Monty Python’s final live show at London’s O2 Arena on July 20th.

The show will be broadcast to movie theaters around the world and is billed as a farewell to the comedy troupe. John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin will reportedly perform some of Monty Python’s best-known hits but “with modern, topical, Pythonesque twists”.

More than 450 cinemas across the U.K. will take the live broadcast. In total around 1,500 screens across the world are expected to be involved.
