Monster-In-Law Becomes A TV Series

Amy B. Harris (“The Carrie Diaries”) and John Riggi (“30 Rock”) are teaming to develop a TV series based on the 2005 Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda comedy “Monster-in-Law”.

Loosely inspired by the film and serving as a kind of sequel, the show follows a happy couple about to become parents whilst managing the difficult relationship between the wife and her mother-in-law.

Warner Bros. TV will produce the series while Harris, Riggi, Chris Bender and J.C. Spink will serve as executive producers. Robert Luketic directed the film which grossed $155 million worldwide.
