Two years on since the film’s release and the ‘movement’ to see director Zack Snyder’s original cut of “Justice League” remains in place.
Few have seen the mythical rough cut of the film, one being “Aquaman” star Jason Momoa who confirmed he’d seen it on Instagram a while back and dubbed it “sssiiicccckkkkkk”.
Speaking with MTV News (via The Playlist) this week, Momoa once again reaffirms that he’s seen it and is championing its release to the public: “I think the public needs to see it. I’m obviously indebted to Warners and DC. I don’t know how they feel about it, but as a fan, I’m very, very happy that I got to see it.”
Perhaps the most interesting comment of the interview came next when the interviewer asked Momoa on whether the visual effects in the Snyder Cut were actually finished or if it was just an assembly (a rough version). Momoa replied: “Oh, do you think Zach couldn’t finish it?”.
The question then remains as to just how finished is the Snyder Cut and how does it change the movie? For now the only certainty is the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement is going to keep going for a while.
