Though filming technically wrapped last month on “Mission: Impossible – Fallout,” the film’s director Chris McQuarrie and star Tom Cruise had one last stunt to pull that they didn’t get a chance to do until today.
The pair have been spending the last few weeks in Abu Dhabi filming an aerial stunt with Cruise doing it himself naturally. We saw a shot of Cruise and McQuarrie on a military plane a few weeks ago, now it appears they had one last shot to get which McQuarrie teases: “At 25,000 feet. At 200 mph. At dusk. Three minutes of available light. Two minutes of action. One chance per day. Just one. Just one shot left. #MissionImpossibleFallout”
The filming was done with the help of the Abu Dhabi Film Commission and the UAE Armed Forces. Now the film has to finish up post-production in time for its July 27th release.
