Following Budapest, Moscow, Dubai and Mumbai for the fourth film and Minsk, Vienna, Casablanca and London for the fifth film, the upcoming sixth movie in the “Mission: Impossible” series has settled on at least one key location.
THR reports that part of the next film will be set in Paris with the shoot aiming to take place in France by the early Summer.
After several delays attributed to a pay dispute, filming on the Christopher McQuarrie-helmed film is set to start in the spring. Following his success with ‘Rogue Nation,’ McQuarrie marks the first director to return to helm a second entry in the series.
Should it kick off on those dates it should be ready in time for its intended July 27th 2018 release. Tom Cruise and Rebecca Ferguson are both slated to return, the big question mark though lies with Jeremy Renner who is currently committed to two “Avengers” films currently in production in Atlanta and will continue well into the Summer.
