Mira Sorvino Joins “Condor” Series Remake

Oscar winner Mira Sorvino has joined the cast of “Condor,” the event series remake of the classic Sydney Pollack 1970s espionage thriller “Three Days of the Condor” for Audience Network.

Max Irons plays Joe Turner, a young CIA analyst whose idealism is tested when he stumbles onto a terrible but brilliant plan that threatens the lives of millions.

Sorvino will play Marty Frost, an investigator who has come out of retirement to take over after an attack at Joe’s office. MGM Television and Skydance Television are the production companies behind the series.

Larry Trilling (“Parenthood”) has also joined as an executive producer and director. He will helm the first three episodes of the series from scripts by Jason Smilovic and Todd Katzberg based on the previous film and James Grady’s “Six Days of the Condor” novel.

Smilovic will serve as showrunner and both he and Katzberg will executive produce alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Marcy Ross.
