When actor Tom Hardy revealed the other day that he’d be shooting “Mad Max: Fury Road” for nine months, eyebrows were raised as that seemed an extraordinarily long period for a film shoot.
Now we know why. Twitchfilm reports that director George Miller plans to shoot two “Mad Max” films back-to-back.
While that sounds like a reasonable explanation, more dubious is the second film’s apparent working title – “Mad Max: Furiosa”. The two films are also allegedly going to be released very close to each other.
No official word as yet on this story, we’ll wait and see the reaction from the Miller camp.
UPDATE (7/4): Hitfix has apparently confirmed the report and adds that Teresa Palmer’s departure from the film related to her schedule commitments to Dreamworks’ “I Am Number Four”.
