Miller Adapts Chandler For Owen

Universal Pictures and Strike Entertainment have set “Sin City” and “300” creator Frank Miller to adapt the Raymond Chandler novella “Trouble Is My Business” as a star vehicle for Clive Owen reports Variety.

Owen and Miller worked together on the film adaptation of “Sin City”, Owen’s work inspiring the idea to adapt one of the famed stories involving Chandler’s hard-drinking private eye Philip Marlowe character.

Marlowe cracks cases, busts heads and romances femme fatales in 1940s Los Angeles – all set to a monotone voiceover of his thoughts.

Owen will executive produce. Strike is also at present in pre-production on a remake of another early 20th-century icon – “The Creature From the Black Lagoon”.
