Mickey Rourke Joins Hill’s “St. Vincent”

Mickey Rourke has signed on to star in the hitman thriller “St. Vincent” says Variety.

The story centers on an assassin who returns to his old New York neighborhood to finish off the murder on an informant that went awry.

He takes refuge pretending to be a priest, but he then finds himself taking confessions from the man he’s supposed to kill.

Walter Hill is directing from a script by Cameron Young. Keith Calder, Joe Neurauter, Felipe Marino, Dena Hysell and Joe Gressis will produce.

Rourke and Hill previously teamed twenty years ago on 1989’s “Johnny Handsome “. Production kicks off later this year.
