Michell Gets A Morning Glory

Roger Michell (“Venus,” “Notting Hill”) is set to direct the J.J. Abrams-produced comedy “Morning Glory” for Paramount Pictures.

Aline Brosh McKenna (“The Devil Wears Prada”) penned the New York-set screenplay, which focuses on a struggling female news producer and the iconic, temperamental anchorman she recruits to revive a failing network morning show.

The project is yet to be cast, but a March start-of-shooting date has been set.
