Oscar-winning filmmaker Michael Moore (“Bowling for Columbine”) has announced “TrumpLand,” a new documentary that will screen for the first time at New York City’s IFC Center on Tuesday evening for free. No further release plans have been announced.
Moore has been an outspoken opponent of Donald Trump throughout the presidential election and this film is said to be an iteration of Moore’s one-man play which he planned to perform at a central Ohio theater and record for nationwide release just weeks before the election.
Last month that Newark’s Midland Theatre “banned” him from presenting and filming the show there because because he was considered too controversial. Moore announced “TrumpLand” by tweeting a photo from his editing room.
