Michael Mann Goes Medieval On Your Ass

Michael Mann (“Public Enemies,” “Collateral”) is looking into his next feature, a film about the events leading to the Battle of Agincourt reports The Financial Times and Deadline.

Based on Bernard Cornwell’s novel, the story centers on a young warrior in medieval Europe whose personal tale unfolds against the build-up to the 15th century bloody battle between England and France made famous by Shakespeare’s Henry V.

Mann has also been looking into biopics of photographer Robert Capa and notorious Chicago crime boss Tony Accardo, the latter entitled “Big Tuna”. Mann’s next effort on screen will be the L.A. horse racing and gambling-themed HBO series “Luck” due to premiere late next year.
