Michael K. Williams has revealed that his long in the works biopic about jazz musician Miles Davis is moving ahead. First talking about it in 2014, the project is titled “Miles and Me” and focuses on the friendship between Davis and his biographer Quincy Troupe Jr.
In a recent interview with Radar Radio, Williams offered a brief update: “That’s happening. That’s very much so happening. That’s in the works right now. That will probably, hopefully – well, you know, knock on wood – that’ll probably be going into production the first quarter of 2018. That’s the goal. Hollywood, stay tuned, right?”
The film will follow in the wake of Don Cheadle’s “Miles Ahead” which was released last year and was more of a straightforward biopic.
