Michael B. Jordan Gets A Warners Deal

Michael B. Jordan (“Black Panther,” “Creed”) has signed a first-look deal with Warner Bros. Pictures for his production company Outlier Society.

The pair unveiled a joint production diversity policy in September and their work together on the legal drama “Just Mercy” starring and produced by Jordan marks the first film under that policy. The deal was announced Wednesday by Warners chairman Toby Emmerich.

What’s not clear is how this will impact Jordan’s commitment to “Without Remorse,” the upcoming film adaptation and potential franchise launcher based on the Tom Clancy novel and setup at Paramount Pictures.
