MGM Plans “Hiding In Time” TV Series

MGM Television has optioned Christopher E. Long’s 2007 Image Comics mini-series “Hiding In Time” with plans to develop as a television series.

The three-part story is set in the near future, where time travel has been cracked and the Witness Protection Program begins relocating to various times in history.

Abraham Smith is one such witness, relocated to the past, living a life centuries before he’s even born. When a witness within the Program is murdered anachronistically, a conspiracy is revealed and Abraham’s safety is called into question.

Richard Smith is attached to pen the adaptation while Long is set to co-executive produce, along with Ray Miller and David Server. Lloyd Braun and Andrew Mittman will executive produce. An attempt at a film adaptation was previously setup at Warner Bros. Pictures in 2008.
