MGM Gets Bent Over Disaster Spoof

MGM is in negotiations to acquire the ‘Airplane!-esque’ $25 million disaster film spoof “2012-ish: The Day the Earth Bent Over” reports Screen Daily.

The story follows a young scientist who fights to save the planet from a number of catastrophes that threaten mankind not to mention a bumbling president and a manic depressive NASA commander.

Robert Moniot directs the feature he co-wrote with Travis Oates. Shooting gets underway in Louisiana in March.
