Konami is bringing together its two most recent MGS games with “Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience” which is set for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 11th.
This complete collection includes both “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” and “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” plus all of the DLC content for both games.
Set several months after the events of “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker,” ‘Ground Zeroes’ takes place at a US facility in Cuba in 1975 while “The Phantom Pain” happens nine years later in Afghanistan 1984 during the Soviet invasion.
The Definitive Experience also includes the Deja Vu and Jamais Vu missions, which were previously only released on the PlayStation and Xbox consoles, respectively. There’s also a whole bunch of items for players including Rasp Short-Barrelled Shotguns, the Adam-ska Special handgun, a range of Personal Ballistic Shields, and a number of costumes.
