Melissa McCarthy is set to star in New Line’s upcoming action comedy “Super-Intelligence” with her husband Ben Falcone attached to direct. This will mark their fourth collaboration following “Tammy,” “The Boss” and next month’s “Life of the Party”.
Steve Mallory, who wrote “The Boss”, is back to pen the script for “Super-Intelligence” which stars McCarthy as Carol Peters, a former corporate executive whose earnest yet unfulfilled life is turned upside down when she is selected for observation by the world’s first super-intelligence – an A.I. that may or may not take over the world.
Production on the film starts in July this year. She is expected to film New Line’s crime drama “The Kitchen” alongside Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss before getting to work on this.
