12-year-old “Captain Marvel” actress Mckenna Grace, who plays young Carol Danvers in the film, is in talks for the leading role in Jason Reitman’s new supernatural adventure film “Ghostbusters 3” at Sony Pictures.
The project serves as a sequel to the original 1980s films by Ivan Reitman, Jason’s father. Reitman and Gil Kenan penned the story which centers one family in particular.
Finn Wolfhard (“Stranger Things”) has already been cast as her brother and Carrie Coon (“The Leftovers”) is playing her single mother. Going by the working title “Rust City,” the project is due to go before cameras this summer and is dated for a July 10th 2020, release.
Grace will next be seen in the horror spin-off “Annabelle Comes Home” this Summer.
