McIntyre Swaps Spartacus For “Hercules”

Liam McIntyre (“Spartacus”) has been cast in a leading role in Renny Harlin’s “Hercules 3D” at Nu Image/Millennium.

The story deals with a romance between the son of Zeus and the mortal princess of Crete, who was promised to his older brother despite her love for Hercules.

Kellan Lutz stars as the title character, with McIntyre as the young army captain Sotiris who becomes Hercules’ most trusted battlefield companion.

After an evil king deceives them, Hercules and the captain are sold into slavery and must fight side by side to earn their freedom.

Sean Hood, Harlin and Giulio Steve wrote the script, while Les Welden and Danny Lerner are producing. Shooting kicks off in May in Bulgaria.
