Katie McGrath (“Jurassic World,” “Dracula”) has scored the key recurring role of Lena Luthor on The CW’s “Supergirl”.
Lena arrives in National City on the heels of brother Lex’s incarceration hoping for a fresh start, taking over as CEO of Luthor Corp which has been tarnished by Lex’s evil infamy and which she has to re-brand as a force for good. The enigmatic mogul just wants to be seen as her own person and is drawn into Kara’s sphere.
McGrath is used to playing a villainess on screen, most notably as the tragically corrupted Morgana on The BBC’s “Merlin”. “Supergirl” kicks off its second season on October 10th.
