Missing toddler Madeleine McCann’s story could be turned into a film, with the money raised used to fund the search for her. However the film could only be made once her parents Kate and Gerry’s status as official suspects is lifted by Portuguese police reports UK Teletext.
Kate and Gerry are in negotiations with talent scouts IMG. If a deal is done the film would be made by the team behind “Touching The Void,” an award-winning documentary about the fight for survival of two British mountaineers lost on a mountain.
Madeleine was six days short of her fourth birthday when she vanished from her bed in the family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in Portugal on May 3rd. A source says “We have had a couple of large companies involved in the film industry approach us about a long-term deal.”
