McAvoy Screws & Swallows In “Filth” Trailer

We’ve had the cyan-heavy glossy sheen crime drama “Welcome to the Punch,” and Danny Boyle’s mind-bending heist thriller “Trance”.

Today though, the first trailer arrives for that other James McAvoy film opening this year, and it’s a very different beast – in many ways it is far more old school Danny Boyle than “Trance” was.

Lionsgate UK haven’t held back and released this 18 certificate teaser trailer for “Filth,” the new film based on a work by Irvine Welsh (“Trainspotting”).

In this, McAvoy plays a brutally vicious sociopathic policeman who screws, sniffs and swallows everything he can get his hands on. Jon S. Baird helmed the adaptation which also stars Jim Broadbent, Eddie Marsan, Alan Cumming, Toby Jones, Imogen Poots, Jamie Bell and Martin Compston.
