FX has renewed its “Sons of Anarchy” spin-off series “Mayans M.C.” for a second season. The series was the highest rated cable series this year and has already managed to score a committed fan base.
The show follows Ezekiel ‘EZ’ Reyes (JD Pardo), who is fresh out of prison and a prospect in the Mayans M.C. charter on the California-Mexico border. Now, EZ must carve out his new identity in a town where he was once the golden boy with the American Dream in his grasp.
The ten-episode first season was co-created by Kurt Sutter and Elgin James and is presently around halfway through its run. In its first three episodes, it was the most-watched program in Tuesday night primetime with each episode averaging 8.2 million viewers across all platforms.
