Max Landis Pens “Chronicle” Sequel

“Chronicle” scribe Max Landis has been hired to pen a follow-up to that sci-fi found-footage film which has scored strong reviews and $105 million at the box office worldwide in just over a month reports Deadline.

There’s no word as to what a sequel would entail considering of the main trio of actors only Aussie actor Alex Russell’s Matt seemingly survived and is travelling the world.

There’s also no word as to if the film would stick to the found footage style of its predecessor. The first film’s director Josh Trank was linked to Sony’s “Venom” spin-off yesterday.

Landis himself has numerous projects in development including (but not only) “Frankenstein,” “Pied Piper,” “Good Time Gang” and “Amnesty”.
