Matthew Goode Joins “Stoker”

Matthew Goode (“Watchmen,” “Brideshead Revisited”) is in talks to play the male lead in “Stoker” for Fox Searchlight says Variety.

The story follows a teenage girl (Mia Wasikowska) who, while mourning the death of her father, must deal with the unexpected appearance of a mysterious uncle (Goode). Nicole Kidman also stars.

South Korean helmer Chan-wook Park (“Oldboy”) helms from a script by “Prison Break” star Wentworth Miller. Tony and Ridley Scott are producing.
