Matthew Broderick has been set to star in “Katrina,” the second season of Ryan Murphy’s “American Crime Story” anthology series for FX.
Broderick will star as Federal Emergency Management Agency director Michael D. Brown, who was in charge of the federal disaster response to Hurricane Katrina with the second season of the show dealing with the natural disaster’s aftermath.
Broderick joins Annette Bening in the series which is also expected to feature the return of Courtney B. Vance, Sarah Paulson and Cuba Gooding Jr. The series isn’t expected to debut until 2018.
