Matt Bomer Is Negative Man In Doom Patrol

Matt Bomer has scored the final key role in the upcoming “Doom Patrol” series in the works for the DC Universe streaming service.

Bomer will provide the voice of Negative Man in the thirteen-episode live-action series, and will appear in flashback sequences as the character of Larry Trainor. On screen, Negative Man will be seen in a full-body costume portrayed by Matthew Zuk who replaces Riley Shanahan.

This marks one of two key roles with major stars lending their voice talent, the other being Robotman whom Brendan Fraser will be voicing. The series also stars April Bowlby, Diane Guerrero, Joivan Wade, Timothy Dalton and Alan Tudyk.

The news comes as apparent story details for the series have arrived up at Splash Report. Greg Berlanti (“Arrow”) is executive producing the series with Jeremy Carver (“Supernatural”) who penned the script. Geoff Johns and Sarah Schechter will also executive produce.
