BioWare has announced a March 21st North America and March 23rd European release date for the highly anticipated “Mass Effect Andromeda,” the fourth in the series of the beloved space action RPG franchise.
In a blog post announcing the release date, BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn says the gam is: “our most ambitious Mass Effect game to date. [There’s] completely new stories, new characters, new planets, new species, and introducing new gameplay systems.”
‘Andromeda’ takes place six centuries after the original three “Mass Effect” games, and places the player in the role of a character who originally left Earth following events of the second game, exploring the Andromeda galaxy with the aim of finding new planets for humanity to colonize.
The game will be released on Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on those dates.
