Last year, Netflix debuted the first seasons of its Marvel-inspired series “Daredevil” in April and “Jessica Jones” in November. This year we’re getting both the second season of “Daredevil” in March and the first season of “Luke Cage” sometime later in the year.
Today, via a posting on the “Jessica Jones” Twitter account, it has been hinted that “Luke Cage” will have its premiere in November. The shot, a close up of Jessica Jones’ (Krysten Ritter) desk, features a file folder that reads “Cage – November.”
‘Jones’ just scored a second season renewal the other week, meaning it isn’t likely to be ready in time for a Fall debut. This suggests ‘Cage’ might take its slot while the second season of ‘Jones’ would premiere in early 2017.
UPDATE: Blackfilm says a confirmed source for them indicates the series may come earlier than expected – as early as late Summer in fact.
