Marvel’s “Inhumans” Pulls Its Release Date

It was rumored earlier this week and now it’s confirmed – Marvel Studios and Disney Pictures have pulled the proposed “Inhumans” movie from its July 12th 2019 release date and have yet to schedule it a new one – effectively delaying it indefinitely.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige said that since the initial announcement of the company’s “Phase Three” plans, the inclusion of both “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp” along with Disney’s fifth “Indiana Jones” film means they have the luxury of pushing the “Inhumans” film until likely sometime in the fourth phase which begins in 2020.

ABC’s “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” has been setting up Inhumans-related storylines since the second season, but with the delay it means those storylines might not even payoff on the big screen for another four or five years.
