The just released “Avengers: Age of Ultron” forgoes an end credit sequence in favor of only a mid-credits one, and a very short one at that. The scene is just a single shot and acts as essentially a cliffhanger for the upcoming “Avengers: Infinity War”.
The scene sees some kind of vault opening with Thanos pulling out a jewel-less Infinity Gauntlet. As we glimpsed the gauntlet in the first “Thor” sitting in the vaults of Asgard, this has raised the question – how did Thanos come to have it.
Marvel chief Kevin Feige tells Cinema Blend that there’s an obvious answer for that: “There are two different gloves. That was not Odin’s vault that you see at the end.”
This immediately does raise another question – will that other one in Odin’s vault come into play in the ‘Infinity War’ two-film saga? We’ll find out when those films open in 2018 & 2019.
