Marvel Studios Adds A Third Film In 2018

Marvel Studios certainly seems to be ramping up their proposed plans to release three films a year now. Just hours after Sony announced a delay of “The Amazing Spider-Man 3” to sometime in 2018, Marvel has jumped on the one obvious hole they had in their schedule announced the other day.

That’s right, Marvel Studios has locked down the May 4th 2018 release date for yet another untitled film. That means both 2017 and 2018 will each see three Marvel Studios features scoring a release – one in early May, one in July, one in early November. Here’s the full schedule as it now stands:

August 1st 2014: “Guardians of the Galaxy”
May 1st 2015: “Avengers: Age of Ultron”
July 17th 2015: “Ant-Man”
May 6th 2016: “Captain America 3”
July 8th 2016: TBD (likely “Doctor Strange”)
May 5th 2017: TBD
July 28th 2017: TBD
November 3rd 2017: TBD
May 4th 2018: TBD
July 6th 2018: TBD
November 2nd 2018: TBD
May 3rd 2019: TBD
