Marvel Pursues Adam McKay To Direct

Marvel Studios and Disney Pictures are reportedly trying to lock-in “Ant-Man” co-writer Adam McKay to direct one of their upcoming third phase films says Latino Review.

McKay was sought to direct “Ant-Man” when original director Edgar Wright walked away due to creative differences. Peyton Reed ultimately took the job, but McKay pulled off a complete rewrite of the screenplay with the help of the film’s leading man Paul Rudd.

There are four announced upcoming films on the slate which have yet to secure directors – “Inhumans,” “Thor: Ragnarok,” “Captain Marvel” and “Black Panther” though the latter two are expected to seek a female and minority director respectively.
