While “Avengers: Endgame” didn’t end up defeating “Avatar” at the box-office, Marvel Studios is still taking a victory lap for its mega blockbuster with a nine-city tour to promote the film’s home video release.
Dubbed the ‘We Love You 3000’ Tour, special guests from Marvel Studios and the MCU will visit nine U.S. cities which begins with San Diego at Comic Con on July 20th and ends in Anaheim at D23 on August 23rd.
Other cities include Everett, WA (July 30th); San Francisco (Aug 8th); Miami, Chicago & Torrance (Aug 13th); Minneapolis (Aug 14th) and Cleveland (Aug 20th). A total of 3,000 MCU Funko Pop Vinyl Figures will be distributed to fans throughout the tour as well as additional giveaways.
Fans will be able to get signings with Marvel Studios filmmakers and/or MCU talent; a special digital photo booth; specialty promotional giveaways and more.
Though not confirmed in anyway, there are guesses that Robert Downey Jr. himself may appear at the Comic Con screening on the 20th. Downey spoke with Off Camera this week about distancing himself from the role of Iron Man now that he’s no longer slated to appear in the MCU again. You can see that interview below along with the ‘We Love You 3000’ tour promo.
