Martin Sheen Sees “The Double”

Martin Sheen has joined the cast of Michael Brandt’s spy thriller “The Double” for Hyde Park/Imagenation says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story centers on a retired CIA operative (Richard Gere) forced to partner with a young FBI agent (Topher Grace) to hunt down the killer of a senator in Washington.

Sheen will play the director of the CIA. Stephen Moyer, Stana Katic, and Odette Yustman also star.

Brandt makes his directorial debut on the film which he co-wrote with Derek Haas. Ashok Amritraj, Patrick Aiello and Andrew Deane will produce and shooting kicks off Monday in Detroit.
