Mark Wahlberg In Talks For “Ted”

Rumored earlier this month, Mark Wahlberg is now in serious negotiations to play the lead human role in “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane’s feature directorial debut “Ted” at Universal Pictures and Media Rights Capital reports Deadline.

A mix of live-action with computer animation, the $65 million feature revolves around a thirty-something Boston man (Wahlberg) whose childhood teddy bear comes to life and his adolescent antics get in the way of a relationship with his girlfriend.

MacFarlane, who co-wrote the script with Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, will provide the voice of the titular CG-animated Ted.
