Marjane Satrapi To Helm “The Voices”

“Persepolis” director Marjane Satrapi is set to helm the psychological thriller “The Voices” at Mandalay Vision and Vertigo Entertainment says Deadline.

Michael R. Perry (“Paranormal Activity”) penned the script about a lovable but strange bathtub factory worker who yearns for the attention of a woman in accounting.

When their relationship takes a sudden murderous turn, Jerry’s evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog lead him down a fantastical path to salvation.

Matthew Rhodes, Roy Lee, Adam Stone and Cathy Schulman are producing and casting is now underway. Shooting aims to kick off early next year.
