Margot Robbie is in final negotiations to join the cast of the live-action/CG animated hybrid adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s beloved children’s tale “Peter Rabbit” for Sony Pictures.
James Corden, Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, Daisy Ridley and Elizabeth Debicki are already on board the Will Gluck-directed film which is being called a modern interpretation of Potter’s works.
The film take centers on the rivalry between mischievous young hopper Peter Rabbit (voiced by Corden) and Mr. McGregor (Gleeson), a man trying to keep a rabbit-free garden.
Details of Robbie’s role will voice a bunny but it’s not indicated which one. Gluck is currently revising the script with Rob Lieber and will co-produce with Zareh Nalbandian.
