Mangold, Pileggi Team For Vegas-Set “Lamb”

CBS has hired “GoodFellas” and “Casino” writer Nicholas Pileggi to develop “Ralph Lamb”, a potential drama series set in Las Vegas in the 60’s and 70’s and revolves around a former Clark County sheriff who helped form the Las Vegas Metro Police Department says The Live Feed.

Lamb never shot anyone but often engaged in fistfights with crime personalities along with confronting Mafia and Hell’s Angels members.

Pileggi is co-writing the script with “Without a Trace” writer Greg Walker while “Walk the Line” director James Mangold is on board to direct and executive produce alongside Cathy Konrad and Arthur Sarkissian.
