Though most new shows of the Fall have already premiered, four of the biggest have yet to come starting with next week’s launch of Starz’ “Ash vs. Evil Dead,” followed two weeks later by AMC’s martial arts drama “Into the Badlands”.
But the most high-profile, aside from Netflix’s “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” of course, is that of Amazon Studios’ most ambitious production to date – a TV series adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s Hugo Award-winning 1962 alternative history novel “The Man in the High Castle”. The pilot was screened in January and quickly became the most-watched original series pilot on the streaming service to date, so it was guaranteed a green light and moved forward with it.
Now with the full first season slated to premiere shortly, Amazon is trying to tempt viewers in by offering that pilot online for free through numerous outlets. The pilot will be viewable through until just before midnight on Sunday evening. Then on Monday, the second episode will available exclusively to all Amazon Prime Members prior to the season launch of all episodes on November 20th.
