With the Grammy Awards taking place last night, a bunch of TV spots for upcoming films aired during the broadcast and have now gone online.
The biggest was a one-minute spot for “Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, the sequel to the feel-good musical based on the songs of ABBA. The clip offers a bunch of new footage including a bigger look at Cher’s role in the film which appears to include her singing a version of “Fernando”.
Then there’s a new spot for “Marvel’s Black Panther” which puts a real focus on the suit. Its use of kinetic energy (which glows purple on the suit), which wasn’t used much in the trailers, is all over the TV spots:
Finally there’s a spot for Ava DuVernay’s “A Wrinkle in Time” which includes a few new FX shots and a sage piece of advice from Oprah Winfrey’s character about not trusting those who offer everything you want if they are in a position to take everything you have:
