Terrence Malick’s long in the works documentary “Voyage Of Time” has secured financing from IMAX, Broad Green Pictures, Sophisticated Films and Wild Bunch. As a result, it has now been confirmed that two different versions of the film are in the works.
The first will be a 40-minute IMAX cut narrated by Malick’s “Tree Of Life” star Brad Pitt. The second will be a 35mm, feature-length version narrated by his “Knight Of Cups” star Cate Blanchett.
The film is described as a “celebration of the universe, displaying the whole of time, from its start to its final collapse. This film examines all that occurred to prepare the world that stands before us now: science and spirit, birth and death, the grand cosmos and the minute life systems of our planet”.
There’s no word on a release date as yet.
