Developer Crystal Dynamics, best known for the critically acclaimed last two trilogy iterations of the “Tomb Raider” game franchise, is set to unveil its high-profile “Marvel’s Avengers” game at E3 this year.
Publisher Square Enix, who will release the title, has just made the announcement saying the worldwide reveal will take place during their panel at the convention. Said panel kicks off on June 10th at 6pm US-PT.
Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal (“Deus Ex”) are working on the title with Shaun Escayg (“The Last of Us,” “Uncharted 4”) serving as creative director on the game which is said to be highly ambitious and features a completely original story.
The game was first teased back in very early 2017 with a brief cinematic teaser, but it has been radio silent since then with no images, further trailers or gameplay revealed.
