Maggie Q Is “Nikita”, “Twilight” Star Heals Sick

Two gorgeous ladies who have made a name for themselves on the big screen are now headed to the small one.

“Mission: Impossible III” star Maggie Q will play the new incarnation of “Nikita” in The CW’s planned TV spin-off/remake of Luc Besson’s 1990 French action feature classic says The Hollywood Reporter.

The actress will play the new Nikita who is being trained to replace the original one who has gone rogue. Anne Parillaud, Bridget Fonda and Peta Wilson have played various versions of the character.

Meanwhile Rachelle Lefevre isn’t letting her ousting from the “Twilight” films get her down.

The red-haired actress who played Victoria in the first two films has scored the lead role in “ER” producer John Wells’ untitled ensemble medical drama at CBS says The Hollywood Reporter.

Lefevre will play a young doctor more used to working in the field than the office in this story of a mobile medical team that traverses the continental United States.
