Macdonald & Scott Team For Youtube Film

Filmmakers Kevin Macdonald (“State of Play,” “The Last King of Scotland”) and Sir Ridley Scott (“Alien,” “Blade Runner”) are teaming for a feature film project based on user-submitted YouTube videos reports The BBC.

Entitled “Life in A Day”, users have been asked to film footage of their daily lives on July 24th. The best examples will be edited together into a documentary to be premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

Macdonald calls the project an “experimental film” and users whose footage is included will be credited as co-directors alongside Macdonald. Scott will produce.
